Key Responsibilities:
- Elementary Level – Teach age-appropriate guidance lessons focused on social-emotional learning, character development, and positive behavior.
- Middle School Level – Lead career exploration activities to help students identify their interests and strengths for future planning.
- High School Level – Support students in academic planning, college and career readiness, scholarship applications, dual-credit opportunities, and social-emotional well-being.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student success and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive school culture that fosters student growth.
- Facilitate student support services by working with outside agencies, mental health professionals, and community resources.
- Assist with academic scheduling, postsecondary planning, and standardized testing coordination.

Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling or related field (required).
- Valid Nebraska School Counselor Certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience in guidance counseling, student support, or related educational roles.
- Passion for helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
